I've been in the dental field for 20+ years. I started as an assistant at an orthodontist office while I was attending Southern Utah University. Later, I transferred to Weber State University, where I got my degree in Science and started working at another orthodontist office again.
Fast forward 18 years and lots of experience working at Elison Orthodontics, I saw a need for fast, efficient, incredible results and chemical-free teeth whitening options for patients getting their braces off and wanting to show off that new smile. After whitening teeth at Dr Elison's office for a few years, life threw me a hard curveball. I lost my brother to suicide, and dark days consumed me.
It wasn't healthy to be that sad all the time, and I needed to turn this grief into something positive. Insert BRIGHTER SHADES AHEAD. This is a reminder to me and anyone else that no matter how hard and dark your days may feel, there will always be brighter days ahead. I cling to life being part of a bigger plan as I navigate being a wife and mother of 4 kids. Between work and all my kids' wild schedules, my favorite thing is finding time and money to travel the world and create new memories with my family and friends.
